MarKey Home Buyers is a locally owned real estate company that buys houses directly from homeowners across Metro Atlanta. No agents, no listings, no fees — just a straightforward cash sale on your timeline.

We started this company because we watched too many homeowners get squeezed: agents demanding repairs before listing, wholesalers making offers they never intended to honor, and banks running out the clock on families in trouble. We believed there was room for a home buyer that operates the way people actually want to be treated — with honesty about the numbers and respect for the situation.

MarKey Home Buyers is run by its two founders — when you call, you get one of them, not a call center.

William Harp — Co-Founder

William handles much of the day-to-day with sellers, and it shows: he's the guy who will walk you through exactly how an offer was calculated and tell you honestly if listing with an agent would net you more. He's helped Georgia homeowners through foreclosure timelines, inherited houses full of memories, and properties that just needed too much work to sell the normal way.

Peter Register — Co-Founder

Peter keeps every deal moving — coordinating with closing attorneys, title companies, and lenders so sellers get paid on the date they were promised. He's the reason MarKey can close in two weeks when a seller needs it, without the deal falling apart at the finish line.

Together, William and Peter bring 20+ combined years of real estate experience across Metro Atlanta and Georgia — buying, renovating, renting, and above all, helping people find a way forward when a house has become a burden.
